Telehealth helps people to use quality health services of higher levels at lower-level medical facilities. It also helped people save travel expenses, direct medical examination costs at higher levels, reduce waiting time for patients during medical examination and treatment. Currently, the system has been deployed in more than 1,000 health facilities across the country, connecting more than 27 higher-level hospitals.
