Cropwiz is one of the Sri Lanka’s largest agriculture projects that tackle seasonal weather patterns and their impacts on food production. The project is a joint venture investment that employs cutting-edge greenhouse technology which enables “climate smart”, year-round production. The innovation employs automated climate control and fertigation systems, as well as hydroponics. The greenhouses are designed to be largely self-sufficient and sustainable regarding water usage, by using a rainwater harvesting reservoir and state-of-the-art techniques to achieve near-zero water wastage.
