Agriculture Control Room
Indonesia
Within the new e-agriculture strategy, Indonesia is establishing an Agriculture Control Room, which uses advanced digital technologies to improve data and evidence-based decision-making. The ACR is based on a Data Collection Platform (DCP) to collect agricultural data from farmers to support the Ministry of Agriculture to create better agriculture strategies. The ACR is designed as a strategic Agricultural Command Centre (KOSTRATANI) to strengthen the national agriculture extension network from the national to the district level. The application generates information by relying on a network of key informants at various levels along the supply chain from field to the Ministry.
